"Peter do you love me? Feed My Sheep."
The Knights Table can trace its origins to the dedication and compassion of a local hero– Cecil Peters. Cecil was a man known for his commitment to helping the less fortunate.
In the summer of 1990, he visited the local Dairy Queen, witnessing the plight of the needy in our community first-hand. A Brampton local was shifting through the garbage, searching for a meal. Rather than shutting his eyes to the situation, Cecil decided to do something about it.
Professing that no one should have to go hungry in Brampton, he approached his Knights of Columbus Council 9235 and gained their support. Within 6 months the Knights Table opened its doors and has grown into a vital resource, continuing to expand with the needs of the community.
We are still proud sponsors of the Knights Table 20 years later.
